Grape Salad

If you’re a fan of fluffy congealed salads (and I am.. they remind me of great aunts, grandmothers and potluck socials) then you’ll probably love this salad. This is one of the most popular cold composed salads we sell at work and, once you gather up the ingredients, it’s easy to make and refreshing on a hot afternoon.

  • 2 pounds green grapes
  • 2 pounds red grapes
  • 8oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8oz sour cream
  • 1 cup store-bought whipped topping (Kool Whip or similar)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
In a large bowl, pour the honey over the cream cheese and stir well. Add the sour cream, whipped topping and vanilla, then gently fold in the grapes. Pour into your serving bowl and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Just prior to serving, sprinkle crushed pecans and brown sugar over the top and enjoy!
